There is perhaps nothing more beautiful than inspiring a child to use their own imagination. So, when we arrived at the park this day and witnessed the warm glow of light being cast down through the trees we knew we needed to work quickly to make the most of this opportunity. Jessica, our subject, is always fun and playful. We know because we have been photographing her since she was an infant, and her charisma always shines through. To have some fun and make the most of our time in this fleeting light we decided to play a little game, and asked her to pretend that she was a fairy named rose. Sometimes playing a different role other than yourself can actually help bring out your true self. That is, the playful side of you….
